    The purpose of this study is to investigate the digital leadership of primary school principals in the era of digital technology. This research uses a qualitative approach using a case study research type. Data were collected by means of in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation. Data analysis was performed using interactive analysis with the stages of data collection, data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. To maintain data validity, triangulation techniques were used. Several research results concluded that the principal developed a vision which reflected an orientation towards developing a school vision based on the development of digital technology. Research findings 1) technology-based school management, 2) technology-based strategic planning, 3) technology-based group discussion forums, 4) technology-based periodic evaluation and 5) field experience-based program development

    When researchers made observations on the learning process that took place at SMPIT AS SALAM students were very less enthusiastic or less active in participating in learning. This is because the learning model applied by PAI teachers is very monotonous. The method used mostly uses the lecture method, does not involve active students, notes the book until it runs out, so students are less enthusiastic in participating in learning because it is felt that learning is less interesting. A teacher must of course continue to seek or formulate appropriate strategies so as to create comfortable learning with students and achieve effective learning goals. With the active learning method, the PAI learning process is expected to produce academic achievement and the ability of students to establish social relationships and develop Islamic religious values.     The effort to develop an Islamic educational institution can not only be built on the concept of Aqliyah theory, but also based on the concept of God revelation. One of the explicit messages of God revelation is the phrase min adhulumatilaannur (from the darkness to the lightness). Implicitly, this phrase implies a transformation process from dhulumat (darkness) to an-nur (lightness). The process of transformation needs to be elaborated intact and holistic, how to interpret it; which will be formulated into the implementative formulation of the phrase.The phrase min al dhulumat ila an-nur conceptually there are three dimensional meaning that includes: 1). Textual, textual meaning of min al-dhulumatilaannur is from the darkness to the lightness, 2). Contextual, contextual meaning of min al-dhulumatilaannur; there are some interpretations from the interpreter whose essence is changing from disbelief to the faith, from apostasy to the faith, from ignorance to knowledge, and 3). Reconceptualization, there is a relevance of the concept min al-dhulumatilaannur with the management of education,that related to the transformation process that must be done to accept a change.Actualization of transformation can be done on some basic elements of education, i.e., students, teachers, headmasters/ managers, supervisors, employees and parents

    Moral decadence is a problem in society, especially for students in this modern era.Students need a strong understanding and a continuous process in instilling PAI values. The focus of this research: 1) How is the process of internalizing PAI values to students through the flagship program at Mts Almaarif 02 Singosari? 2) What are the PAI values that are internalized to students through the flagship program at Mts Almaarif 02 Singosari? 3) What are the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in efforts to internalize PAI values to students through the flagship program at Mts Almaarif 02 Singosari?. The research method uses qualitative case studies, with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Analyzed by data condensation, data presentation, data withdrawal or verification of conclusions. Checking the validity of the data with the testcredibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The end result: 1) The process of internalizing PAI values to students through the flagship program of MTs Almaarif 02 Singosari, contains 3 things, namely the strategy stage, the value internalization stage, and the method of internalizing PAI values. 2) PAI values that are internalized include the values of faith, worship, and morals. 3) Supporting factors, namely the comfort of the situation and condition of the place, as well as the completeness of the facilities. The inhibiting factor is the disgraceful behavior of students and guardians of students who do not pay attention to their children in worship or other matters

    The role of self-regulated learning on foreign vocabulary learning: a multi-case study

    In recent years, a considerable body of empirical research has acknowledged the role of self-regulated learning (henceforth SRL) in the domain of English as a foreign language (EFL). However, the study investigating the role and mechanism of SRL in vocabulary learning is still in scarcity particularly in Indonesian contexts. To address this noticeable gap, this multi-case study aims to explore the role of SRL on vocabulary learning strategies use and mechanism from the experience of undergraduate EFL learners. After signing the informed of consent form sheets, two undergraduate students from two different countries (Indonesia and Egypt) voluntarily participate in this study. By employing a series of semi-structured interviews and conducting narrative thematic analysis (Braun Clarke, 2006), the findings showcase that both participants employ a myriad of vocabulary learning strategies such as rehearsal, elaboration, and social strategy. Additionally, the empirical evidence indicates that they have higher level of motivation and persistence to maintain vocabulary-learning activity. The findings suggest the important practical implications for teachers, learners, and institution. This article also discusses limitations and recommendations

    The head of madrasa supervisor has a role to coordinate and guide the teachers to be able to improve their professionalism as educators. The purpose of this study is  find out: madrasah head’s programs, strategies, and obstacles in improving teacher professionalism. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are done by observations, interviews, and documentations. The subject of the study were the head of the madrasa and the teachers. The results showed that. Planning a program in improving teachers professionalism prepared by the madrasah’s head and documented, which includes the RKM, RKAM, RKTM and the work program of the madrasah’s head. Madrasah’s haad as supervisor continues to carry out supervision teacher competency improvement activities, conduct services and add facilities, increase teachers discipline. Implementation of supervision in improving teachers professionalism, the activities carried out include classroom supervision, supervision of learning tools, training and workshops. Provision of supporting facilities for learning. Controlling the presence of teachers, controlling the hours of learning, and discipline of dressing. Evaluation of the madrasah’s head in improving the professionalism of teachers in MA Miftahul Ulum is the final result of the research with interviews, observations, and documentations that have been done

    Juvenile delinquency is a form of social neglect, which results in deviations from a person's behavior. Lately, there have been many cases of delinquency committed by teenage boys and girls. This delinquency causes many negative impacts for themselves, as well as for others. This study aims to prevent juvenile delinquency behavior at SMPN 2 Gondang, by planning, implementing Islamic religious education teachers in learning activities in the classroom or outside the classroom. This study uses a qualitative research method that puts forward the subjective interpretation of the researcher. Researchers used data collection instruments through the process of observation, interviews, and documentation. Using case study research, observation and in-depth interviews with Islamic religious education teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Gondang Tulungagung. The results of this study are; 1) Planning for Islamic religious education teachers is to compile learning rankings with the aim that the implementation of learning is more structured and easier; 2) Implementation of prevention of juvenile delinquency by conducting intracurricular activities, namely teaching and learning activities in the classroom, and extracurricular activities, namely activities of developing skills and interests of students' talents; 3) The results of the PAI teacher's efforts are that juvenile delinquency behavior in SMP Negeri 2 Gondang is reduced in the sense that students do not commit serious delinquency, students follow the rules set by the school, and students win many competitions at the provincial and district levels. Kata Kunci: Juvenille Delinquency, Kenakalan Remaj

    Married couples must be able to actualize them in building household harmony, so that the goals of a successful marriage, mawaddah, wahrahah can be achieved. In order to form and create a family of faith, mawaddah, wa rahmah, scholars recommend that there be balance, unity, equality (there is an element of kafa'ah) between the prospective husband and wife. Each man has his own way and purpose, so the Messenger of Allah limits him in four factors: wealth, children, beauty, and religion. In this study, researchers used unstructured or free interview techniques with the aim of finding more in-depth information about the urgency of kafa'ah according to the people of Bumiaji Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City. Kafa'ah in marriage to the people of Bumiaji Village Batu urgency showed an interest in something in determining an action. In this case, the urgency of the kafa'ah in Bumiaji Village has only been achieved in terms of its people's wealth, education, and work alone, in terms of religion, it still cannot be fully achieved or only a small part has already been effected'. If there is a lack of trust that leads to divorce, the Bumiaji village government can only help with mediation and the rest are administratively handed back to each spouse and family.Keyword: kafa’ah, marriag
